The Small Drawing Room

Private chambers of Konstantin Konstantinovich and his wife Elizabeth Mavrikeyevna were in the Small Drawing Room. Architects A. Giorguli, N. Potolov and V. Nikolya designed the interior of the Small and adjacent Large Drawing Rooms. The five-part plafond in the drawing room – The Service of Art –was painted by Ernst Liphart. The various subjects were suggested by the Grand Duke himself.
