The Musical Drawing Room
The Grand Duke invited the architect D. Zaitsev to work on the interior of the Musical (Gothic) Drawing Room (1891). Zaitsev was a master of Gothic ornaments and made the interior of the room in Neo-Gothic style. A small wooden sculpture King David by A. Adamson stands out in the room. The sculpture was created in memory of the first poem published by Konstantin Romanov. Animal figures by R. Bach fit seamlessly into the main composition of the carved decorations of the Musical Drawing Room. |
